That said, when it is eventually released, Disney Speedstorm might overtake KartRider: Drift as the definitive free kart racer. Ultimately, KartRider: Drift is probably not going to be a game that someone plays endlessly for months, but it works well as a distraction for when a player has 20 minutes to kill. Now, the racer's mobile origins shine through in some less-than-impressive ways, mainly in the lackluster tracks that seem to end before they really pick up steam. The combat system is flashy and accessible, all the while still offering enough depth to keep people engaged in the long run. MultiVersus prioritizes team-based battles rather than solo fights, although the latter is an option for people who prefer to be lone wolves.
